Kids Christmas Pillowcase Class
Description: Students will learn to make a travel size pillowcase using the burrito method with French seams as well as the following:
*Sewing machine and tool safety.
*How to sew a straight line.
*How to thread the machine.
*How to thread a bobbin.
*How to back stitch.
If time allows, students will also learn about rotary cutters, mats, rulers, and how to use them safely.
Class includes use of sewing machines, choice of kit and pillow form needed to complete the project.
Students will need:
*Sewing scissors
*Straight pins - pins with a glass head will be easier to handle
*Marking pen or pencil
*Quality 100% cotton thread to match their kit selection
*Seam ripper (we all make mistakes!)
