This is an old favorite “slow stitching & fabric collaging” workshop with updated revisions. We will create a base “foundation” piece for your Bible/Journal/Planner and be talking all about the “stitch-a-bility” options with assortment of the beautiful Whim-So-Doodle fabrics. I will teach you how to make colorful and creative embellishments for you to stitch onto your covers or for stitching onto other projects.
This is a “work in progress” workshop. We will get a lot done in class but then you can work on it forever, or until you think it is finished.
I will be bringing all of my examples as inspiration.
Workshop Includes:
- Blank 5 ¾ x 8 ¼ hardcover journal
- Fusible Fleece Foundation starter piece
- Assorted scraps of fabric to create your base
- Assorted colors of DMC Embroidery Floss
- Assorted sized needles
- Glue Sticks
Supplies to bring:
- Fabric scissors
- Any stitching supplies you have and love
