FABRIC

These blocks are great done scrappy. Scraps and bundles work well for this. It’s up to you if you are just using these blocks as a learning tool and moving onto a different pattern after class or if you will continue with the same blocks to complete a whole quilt. Choose your fabrics accordingly. I like a high contrast between the small pieced side and the background fabric. Please come to class with your fabric cut into workable pieces, Fat eighths work well for the scrappy part and the background should be cut into 8
inch squares then subcut diagonally. Your fabric should also be pressed, a light starch like best press is helpful.
