Class Kit Included: Your class kit includes all of the materials needed to
make your pouch: exterior and lining fabrics, fusible fleece, woven
interfacing, a zipper, and a printed copy of Mary's Basic Quilted Zipper
Pouch pattern.
Supplies Needed for Day of Class:
□ Sewing machine with power cord and foot pedal (manual if needed)
□ Knee Lifter (optional)
□ Recommended Feet: 1⁄4” foot, zipper foot, edge (topstitch) foot, and walking foot
□ Recommended Needle: size 90/14 Microtex needle
□ Coordinating Thread
□ Rotary Cutter and Personal Cutting Mat
□ Rulers (12 1⁄2” and additional sizes helpful)
□ Pins
□ Scissors and Thread snips
□ Wonder clips
□ Marking tools (washout pen, Frixion Pens, chalk, Air Erase Pen)
□ Stiletto
□ By Annie’s Basting Tape or 1⁄4” Lite Steam-a-Seam Double Stick Fusible Tape (helpful for
putting in zippers)
□ Iron (shared) and Large Cutting Mat (provided by store)
Feel free to bring food or drinks to class. We will take a short break as needed.
