YOU WILL BE MAKING ONE TOTE, YOU CHOOSE THE SIZE.

The byAnnies "Take A Stand" pattern will be used in this class. Stand-up totes in two sizes have an easy-to-install zippered top that opens wide for easy access to the contents.

Each Take A Stand tote features an adjustable, detachable carrying strap and plenty of room for supplies and more. Two zippered pockets on the outside of the tote and two inner mesh pockets keep everything organized and easy to view.

The small Take A Stand tote makes a perfect stand for the Running With Scissors tool case pattern. Just fold the Tool Case over so that the inner pockets are exposed.

HOMEWORK.... To ensure you reach the intended goals set, complete the following BEFORE arriving on the first day of the class. Allow adequate time to prepare these steps, do not try to accomplish this the night before day one of the class.

Complete the following in advance:
□ Read pages 1 – 3 to familiarize yourself with the general information. Check for any
corrections at www.ByAnnie.com/corrections/ before you begin.
□ Read all my instructions before you begin.

□ Print page 9 or 10—the labels. VERY IMPROTANT TO ATTACH LABELS TO YOUR PIECES.
□ On page 2, you will find the information regarding cutting and quilting.
□ Use the labels to assist in cutting out Quilted Set A and B.

Page 2 I. CUT AND QUILT:
□ Prepare: Main Fabric, Lining Fabric and Soft and Stable for quilting -- Set A and Set B.
▫ Follow the cutting instructions for cutting each of the above-mentioned
fabrics/interfacing.
▫ Pages 2: B. QUILT - Follow the steps in this section; quilting the layers for each Set A &
B. Use a temporary adhesive spray to baste & hold the layers together.

opposite side of the page, you will find the cutting layouts for the quilted fabrics.
Clip/pin a label to each piece.

the webbing lengths to cut for each of the above-mentioned.

as written in the pattern on page 3.B Prepare the Carrying Strap Tabs and Carrying

□ Webbing versus Prepared Fabric Straps and Handles NOTE: If you are following the method of preparing the fabric covered carrying strap tabs and carrying strap, you will continue to cut all the coordinating fabrics as listed. If you are using webbing to replace the fabric covered straps as I did in the sample, you will need to purchase approximately 2 1⁄4 yards for the small and 3 yards for the large of webbing. Cutting lengths to follow below.
